The Upper Hand is a new boutique minimalist nail spa in Noe Valley, SF.
My role was to design the online customer experience while integrating an online booking system, curating inspirational content and building a social media presence.
The website I designed brought focus to the salons most glowing reviews and an online booking system that integrated seamlessly with the salons current system. I designed the site to be responsive for mobile so that clients can read reviews, reference inspiration images and book appointments while on the go.
The social media aesthetic pairs natural textures with minimalist nail art inspiration to achieve a refreshing take on a beauty centric account. I have curated images that are fresh, clean, summery with bright highlights, muted neutrals and pops of color, mixing in shots of nail art from the salon to keep the account authentic and rooted in the neighborhood community.
