ARTIST STATEMENT

This installation is a video projection that spans the wall above the store's shoe display - the piece was a looping sunbeam that appeared and faded in a slow rhythm as if it was coming through the skylight in the ceiling - yet it would play throughout the day, at times crossing paths and dancing with actual sun, or offering it's essence during the dark winter months in Seattle.  :  photos c/o The New York Times
